Character: Obviously there's no real art of Peter McVries, since he's an obscure book character from an old Stephen King Richard Bachman novel, so I got to be creative with this one. I went off of the descriptions in the book and then added a few personal touches. Peter is one of my favorite characters of all time, so I was happy to finally show him and the book some love. Jason and Ashley are both also fans of the book so we decided to take it to the next level and be already-shot McVries/Olson/Baker. It was all kinds of awesome and we're definitely bringing them back again for the next D*C! Thanks so much to Ashley for the hot, hot makeup jobs! ;D
2008 update! We brought them back, as you can see in the second group of pictures there. Emily was Olson this time and we had a ball, as always. Also, we had a few people remember the book and talk to us about it and that was really, really awesome. We're glad we're not the only ones who remember it! I didn't really change anything at all the second time around (except a little more blood on the shirt). But we're hoping to wear them AGAIN next year -- maybe with more walkers! Or maybe even in the parade! Heehehe!
Fun things: It was actually comfortable, even with the crazy makeup and blood. AND IT'S PETER MCVRIES. <3333
Bad things: We never get to wear them long enough! D:
