The original Persona has been one of my favorite games since I hunted for it mercilessly and finally found it at a flea market back in 1999 (I believe it was). Since then, I've played the others as they've been released and loved each one -- as well as the other Shin Megami Tensei games I've picked up (Digital Devil Saga, Devil Summoner, etc.). My first costume ever was a Persona 2 costume (found below!) and there's always more I want to make. I've been especially thinking about an original Persona uniform. I need to show my love for the first game!

Character: Eriko is one of my favorite characters in the series (in both Persona 1 & 2). I really wanted to cosplay in her outfit from the first game, but since I only had 2 days to prepare this costume (and there was going to be a Persona 2 cosplay group at the con XD) I went for the second game's outfit. It was my first costume ever! So yes, it is a tag ghetto. Hehe.
But yeah, now that I look back on it I'm still happy with what got done in two days (with help from my sister). I'm hoping to possibly remake this outfit one day -- with the correct coloring everywhere. But I'm not sure when I'll get the chance. Plus, I want to make her outfit from Persona first!

Fun things: The boots and the little covers on them. XD I also loved the jacket, it was quite comfy. And running around with other Persona fans, of course!
Bad things: The wig! I'm suprised I kept it on all day. And the RED turtleneck. We couldn't find an orange one, so we had to make-do with RED. And we couldn't find pants and a jacket that matched exactly. It was my first costume ever, and it was made in less than week (since it was two days before it was all bought and then modified)! What do you expect?! ;D

Character: I've adored Jack Frost since the first time I played Persona. He's adorable and the fact that he appears throughout the whole SMT series (plus he's all over a lot of Atlus' stuff) = awesome. That means you get to see him ALL THE TIME. XD I wanted to show my love for him, but I knew I wouldn't be able to make an actual mascot costume without it looking absolutely horrible (I can picture it -- the head would be all lumpy and the proportions would be totally off >_<), so I modified it a bit! You know me and making femme versions of characters (see also: Hannah Solo & Mario[a] ;D) so that is what Jack Frost became! I had the sharp teeth too, but I didn't manage to snap any pictures of them yet. XD

Fun things: The hat and collar and boots; I loved the way they all went together! And I was a total sucker for the petticoat/tutu. XD
Bad things: After awhile those boots hurt like a bitch, of course. Hehe. It's always the boots!

Character: Ulala Serizawa = <3333. Next to Eriko, she's definitely my favorite in the series. She's a sarcastic, kickboxing bitch. XD I love her design and I was really happy that I finally had a chance to cosplay her. I didn't know if I'd be able to (especially the hair), but with a lot of help from my Mom (before the con) and sister (at the con), I was actually able to pull it off. It was one of my first costumes that I really felt awesome in. Hehe. ESPECIALLY WITH THE SPIDER WEBBING. XDDDD

Fun things: The hair. Well; not the actual putting it up. But having it up and sprayed all fun. And I LOVED the outfit. My mom and my sister helped me out a lot with it. <3 XDDDDDD I loved the hands too [polish and tape] ... the tape hurt but it was hella-fun to pretend to fight in.
Bad things: The boots were fun but they hurt my feet (AGAIN WITH THE BOOTS). >_< And the tights I was wearing were sucky. But other then that it was all good.
