| Hey there and welcome to Drifting in Nines, the personal site (as well as creative dump) of Heather (also known as hexterah, Tenna, Tenel Ka or something of that sort). I decided to take my seperate creative sites (writing, costuming, etc.) and my personal site (previously called Gateway to Insanity) and mesh them together into one big bucket of crazy. The name for this site was brought over from my old cosplay site and is a part of a lyric from a song called Phantasmagore by the band Deadsy. Wednesday, January 11, 2012I'm working on updates and a new layout for this site! Also, Dragon*Con costumes and photos will be added here soon with the redesign. I've nixed updating the wordpress blog on my own and moved all updates that would go on there to the blog at zhobot.net! I figured it would be easier to update one blog than it would be to keep up with two! Look for a redesign and lots of new content here soon! ♥ Heather
Tuesday, June 21, 2011Lots of updates! Been to two cons since the last update and I have lots of new stuff planned for Dragon*Con. :) Added photos/costumes for Santa (9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors), Luke Triton (Professor Layton), L (Death Note), Tenel Ka (LotF: Tempest cover) and Barbie (Toy Story 3) to the finished costumes section! Sunday, February 6, 2011Happy (sort of late) New Year! Couple updates that I finally got around to getting up here! ;D Added Barbie (Toy Story 3) to the movie page of the finished costumes section! There are also a couple additions to the planned costumes section! I will be at Katsucon 2011 in a couple weeks with Barbie, Tenel Ka (Tempest version with some remade parts!) and Santa from 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. Say hi if you see me! ;D I also started up a blog that I keep updated with costume and shop stuff. Monday, October 11th, 2010Lots o' updates! Added some links to different places on the right side (flickr, deviantArt), fixed up a couple of the sections and updated the site with Dragon*Con costumes! The Tenel Ka page has been updated with some pictures of the Strike Team, Queen Mother dress and a new costume! Pictures have been added to the Buster Bluth costume and the following costumes have been added: Kale Longo (Star Wars), Ophelia (Drowning Doom version - Brutal Legend) & Elaine Marley (Monkey Island)! ♥ Heather
Saturday, August 14th, 2010I updated some of the cosplay section with BaltiCon 2010 costumes and pictures! They can be found here (Chuck from Pushing Daisies) and here (Tenel Ka - Queen Mother dress)! I'm bringing lots of new craziness to Dragon*Con this year (including Ophelia from Brütal Legend, a new Tenel Ka outfit, Kale Longo from Death Troopers and Elaine Marley from Monkey Island) so if you see me around, say hello! Monday, June 7th, 2010I finally was able to get this site online! There is also a livejournal companion community as well for updates on random creative crap. I opened that as well and it can be found here! On the cosplay front, I have finally added Dragon*Con 2009 & Katsucon 2010 costumes/pictures! They can be found here (Tenenbaum, Hunter & Luke Triton), here (Sith!Tenel Ka), here (Lisa Garland - Shattered Memories), here (Hannah Solo), here (Mrs. White) & here (Peter McVries)! Balticon costumes/pictures will be up soon (another Queen Mother Tenel Ka & Chuck from Pushing Daisies)! I originally had a personal site, a cosplay site, a writing site, etc. -- but I figured it would be much easier to have them all in one place. So here it is. I hope there is something enjoyable here for everyone in any part of the fandom world I lurk in. ;D Besides that, there is a lot of dorkiness. JUST A WARNING, LOL.
