version 2.0: This is the second layout of this collective and features Chester's Mill as seen on the gorgeous cover of Under the Dome. It was made with Photoshop 6.0 & notepad!
Updates
April 17, 2010: As you can see, we finally have a new layout! There have also been a few small content changes and some new things listed to the right! Check them out! Make sure you join the forum as well (click the banner above) -- we always need King fans there! October 7, 2009; The Kingdom turned 2 years old the other day! We have joined a couple fanlistings relevant to our interests (and will be joining more soon). And we have a new little project that we're working on that is actually a mesh of two sites we've wanted to make. So we're hoping to have that up soon. :D

And here are a few wallpapers for desktops! As you can see from posts on the board, different journals and dorkiness from us in different places, we like to cast King books that haven't been made into movies yet (or heck, even if they have) so if you're wondering why a wallpaper has pictures of people you have never seen in any King adaptation ever (ex: Lisey's Story wallpaper) that was us and our casting habit shining through. In the fall of 2007, both of us realized how crazy obsessed we were getting with our King books. We couldn't wait till we could get our hands on one we hadn't read yet or a new one was coming out (we foamed at the mouth for Duma Key) -- so we figured we'd channel all of our crazy energy into something creative and The Kingdom was born. :D It started out with the old board (that was strictly a King board and we have since shut down), because we had the urge to roleplay as a bunch of King characters with a crazy little storyline and then we kept getting all these other ideas for sites and fanworks and such. We took our favorite King characters as aliases on the site here and continue to add and grow this little garden of oddness. So keep an out for all the crazy things we'll be coming up with here!
