Achenar // extremely similar in name to the star Achernar, also known as alpha Eridanii. The lowest star in the constellation Eridanus, it is also the brightest there. Eridanus (the river) starts to the right of Orion and follows a winding curve horizonward. Unfortunately, Achernar is just below the horizon for most of the US. Eridanus is also visible during the winter months. --- Achernar is the 9th brightest star. It's name means "end of the river."

Atrus | Sirrus and Achenar's father. He's 25% D'ni and 75% human. He writes many ages, most of which the brothers go to and later they try to corrupt. During Myst, he is trapped in D'ni, with no way to get back to his other ages. That's where you, the player come in.

Catherine | Sirrus and Achenar's mother. She's 100% Rivenese. During and after the events of Myst, she is being held captive on Riven by Sirrus and Achenar's grandfather, Gehn. One of the objectives of Riven (the sequel to Myst) is to save Catherine.

Yeesha | Sirrus & Achenar's little sister. She's roughly forty years younger than both brothers - we previously thought she would never meet them, but after the release of Myst IV: Revelation we learn that that's untrue! Like her brothers, she is also 12.5% D'ni, 37.5% human and 50% Rivenese.
