A long time ago in a... wait, no. Okay, somewhere in the year 2000, we started messing with html and had a bunch of ideas for silly little websites. We played around with HTML FOR DUMMIES and NOTEPAD and such until said sites were born. That was pretty much the beginning of our journey into the world of widely web things. When we realized how much fun we were having, we decided to get a domain name. We've always used the WTF term (full and abbreviated) and we figured we'd show our love for it in a very happy bunny rainbows kind of way -- and whatthefun.net was born!

We managed to get some stuff online in November of 2001 and even though it's been seven years since the site has been opened, it's only been through eight layouts -- this being the ninth. You can see all the past layouts here. As you can see, for a very long time we stuck with a black background -- I'm not really sure why, but it always just seemed to work with everything.

At some point we also opened echuta.net, which is the sister site to this one and has all of our crackish Star Wars related funnery, whereas this site holds our random crackish funnery. So in closing, please enjoy the... random crackish funnery!
